Summary: After the great earthquake of 20 years ago a new evolutions of humans took over the  earth. These are called alter users. They use matter to create weapons to fit their abilities. You had to be born with it but it wasn't always genetically passed on. Both of your parents could be normal and you could be a alter user. The land in which the area was risen thanks to the earthquake, was called HOLY (for alter users) and HOLD (for normal people).Kazuma is a street rat. He is a alter user who isn't a part of HOLY. He fights against HOLY so he can be the first normal alter to defeat them.
